Dear Extended Oasis Family;
#DTSOasis by now I think you probably know what this is about. This month is a great time to readjust our perspective of who we are, who God is, how God sees us and how we should see ourselves. HINT: You are a VIP to God and He wants you to live like it. I can't wait until this weekend when I get to bring the next message in the series, "Death To Selfie"

You do not want to miss this weekend! We are continuing our momentum and excitement of all that God did and is doing since Easter. TRY IT OUT NOW! I got to get away a few days to the mountains last week and got to do the selfie thing in 30 degree weather on a ski slope. A little different than it is here today. It was 33 degrees then and it’s 85 degrees today. Make sure you hashtag it #DTSOasis so it is on our Instagram feed. You can also check out all the rest of the pictures there!
"Community Groups" are also still going strong and it’s a great time to join one. By the way, there are some new ones for just this month that are tracking with our "Death to Selfie" series. You can find out about all of our Community groups online right here. You can find just the right one for you! Various nights, days, locations and times. You can find a group when you need it - where you need it.
ONE LAST THING: I’m still so thankful to all of you who invited your friends and family for Easter. As I share in the video update, it was the largest Easter in the history of Oasis Church but the most important thing is the many lives that were changed.
I just dropped into my favorite Jamaican restaurant for lunch and the girl at the cash register asked me if I was a pastor! I wasn't sure if I wanted to confess or not because you never know if you should duck or pucker when asked that question. With a big smile I said yes, and it just so happened I had my Oasis t-shirt on and she said, she was at the Easter service. WOW! That made my day! It was her first time and she came because someone invited her. I had a chance to invite her to come back again. Keep inviting! God will honor your faithfulness whether everyone takes you up on the invite or not.
