Dear Extended Oasis Family;
With the Super Bowl comes lots of excitement in the South Florida community. Most of us won't be in the stadium but it's fun to be around all the buzz this week if you're a Football Fan. (Not the round ball type, ha!) The stadium just a few miles away doesn't have all the action though. Oasis Church has a lot going on this weekend also. This is your last chance to sign up for the Marriage Conference this Saturday -- The 6 Metaphors of a Happy Marriage. You can go online now and sign up until Friday. Join a great group of us who are going to be at the Pines Campus at 2 p.m. Saturday. It ends at 6 p.m. and there is child care if you sign up online right away. (Our teens will be selling refreshments during the breaks thorough Kona in our Community Cafe.) Bud McCord, our Missionary to Brazil and Founder of Abide Brazil Ministries International, will be our guest speaker this weekend at all campuses and all services. It's been several years since Bud has spoken to Oasis, and if you have heard him before you will definitely be excited to have him back with us! BIG Haiti Relief Projects will be announced this Weekend at our Services. You will notice a HUGE Semi Trailer in the parking lot at the Pines Campus (HLWD/NOMI will have a picture -- ha!!). It's ugly, but it will be beautiful when it arrives in Haiti to the people who will be blessed by all we fill it with. The details of when, where and what to bring will be announced on Sunday and throughout the week at 7 Nights of Worship. Do not bring anything this week...the Kick-Off is next week. Discover Oasis Class Coming Up Sunday, February 21 at the Pines Campus. If you have never been to our introduction to Oasis Church -- Our history, beliefs, vision, Pastors and leadership, I hope you will come to the next Discover Oasis Class. If you're thinking of becoming a member or just getting involved, this is a must. If you plan to dedicate a new baby or child in the future, you must first attend this class and then become a member. Membership is not required for attending the class. You will be given the information needed to join, or to get involved in the various ministries. Oh, and did I say, we will provide a complimentary meal also? I look forward to seeing you there. You can sign up ONLINE now.
