The husband of my highschool sweetheart (33 years) , father of 3 boys, and 2 incredible grandsons.

How do you sum up 53 years and not bore you who read this? So I will only say, I have been in ministry 31 years. I served in Youth ministry for 10, Small groups for 3 1/2 years. Started a church I still have the privledge of pastoring in late 1991 , 18 years ago.

I grew up in Hollywood Florida. Served there in my home church,First Baptist Church of West Hollywood, for 13 1/2 years. I now pastor in west Broward , Pembroke Pines. Just 6 miles west of where i grew up.

I have the priviledge of pastoring one of the most unique churches in the USA. They are not only risk takers, they love each other and love God. But there is alot more about what that means than just your token line about loving God. I plan to share what i mean by that in my daily blog.

I plan to die or retire at the only church I've ever pastored. (of course if God allows it)..
I have an awesome wife who no one but me will ever know how great she is. She prefers to stay in the background, but is one of the greatest leaders and Godly persons ive ever known and I have seen her up close these 33 years.
I have 3 incredible sons and two grandsons. Im sure youll hear much more about that in the days ahead.

My passion is to Love God more today than yesterday and to love the people God called me to pastor. I want my three sons and grandsons as life long friends and for them to love God. Thats all i want as a father and grandfather . I want to grow old with the wife of my youth and continue to love her more every year. I cant think of anything else i would rather be doing. (talk to me in about 20 years and i might want to add retirement to that. )
